Debunking The Islamic Doctrine of Hijrah or Conquest Via Immigration

This is a rebuttal to the article entitled What Is “Hijrah” and Is It a Trojan Horse? by The Network. It also a conspiracy used along with the Kalergi plan to deceive ignorant people.

Islamic scriptures itself exposes this fallacy of a Muslim plot to invade and take over the West through mass migration, known as Hijrah.

According to most sources of propaganda, there will only be two options for the natives. That is, to either convert to Islam or die by the sword.

Islam teaches the exact opposite.

What is migration (hijrah) for the cause of Allah? It is to emigrate from the land of the disbelievers to the land of Islam. Hijrah has two purposes behind it:

  • To escape from fitna, out of the fear of shirk. As the more one is in contact with the environment, the more he is desensitised to it.
  • To aid in the process of fighting the enemies of Allah by moving to join the Muslims, aiding them, working to unite their ranks, and being free to call and spread the religion to the people.

The duty of a Muslim is to move from a place where he or she is persecuted and suppressed because of their religion, even if this involves forsaking home and brethren. Allah says:

Verily! As for those whom the Angels have taken (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory to them), they (angels) asked them, “In what condition were you?”. They replied, “We were weak and oppressed on earth”. The Angels asked, “Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to migrate therein?” Such men will find their abode in Hell – what an evil destination! Except the weak ones among men, women and children who were unable to devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way. [4:97]

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “I am not responsible for any Muslim who stays among polytheists. They asked: ‘Why, Apostle of Allah? He said: ‘Their fires should not be visible to one another.’, and he (peace be upon him) said, “Who joins the polytheists and lives with them then he is like them” and he (peace be upon him) said: “Migration will not end until repentance ends, and repentance will not end until the sun rises in the west. [Al-Musnad”, Vol.4/99, Abu Dawud, Kitab al-Jihad, Vol.3/7, Hadith 2479, and ad-Darami, Kitab as-Siyyar, Vol.2/239]

There are those who remain among the disbelievers because of money, family or homeland. They do not demonstrate a strong attachment to his religion (Islam), nor does he emigrate. He does not support the disbelievers against the Muslims, whether in word or deed. His heart is not bound to them, nor does he speak on their behalf.

Such a person is not considered a disbeliever merely because he continues to live among the disbelievers, but many would say that they have disobeyed Allah and His Messenger by not going to live among the Muslims.

Al-Hassan Ibn Salih said: “whoever remains in the land of the enemy, will be treated like the disbelievers, so long as he was able to join the Muslims but did not do it. If one of the disbelievers accepts Islam, but still remains with the disbelievers, even though he was able to go to join the Muslims, he is to be treated like them; neither his blood nor his property will be protected. Whatever excuses they may have, are rejected by the revelation:

Say, [O Muhammad] ‘If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command (Torment). And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. [9:24]

Anyone who refuses to emigrate uses one of these excuses. But these excuses have already been rejected by Allah, Who has said that those who make such claims are disobedient to Him.

The conclusion is that Muslims are obligated to make hijrah to Islamic lands that is ruled by Muslims where the Sharia is the supreme law and Muslims hold political power. Even if the majority of the population are disbelievers, so long as the Muslims rule it according to the Sharia.
